History
1886. In the thriving Bordeaux of the XIXth Century, Mr Sixte Duclot sets up his wine shipping company.
1956. Seventy years later, it is bought by Jean-Pierre Moueix, who strengthens its position as a distributor of the great growths of Bordeaux.
1970. Jean-François Moueix replaces his father at the head of Duclot, and instates direct sales to private customers in a very difficult economic situation for the wine trade.
1982. Duclot begins to export wines with the creation of Bordeaux Millésimes, a subsidiary managed by Dominique Renard.
2010. “Bordeaux Millésimes” becomes “Duclot Export”, but does not change its objectives : to offer the best wines of Bordeaux to specialized importers and wholesalers on export markets.
2011. Jean Moueix, the son of Jean-François, will become CEO.
Jean-François MOUEIX remains Chairman of the holding of the Group and he is in charge of the strategy.
